Who won America’s Got Talent: Extreme?

The finalists were announced on America’s Got Talent: Extreme on Monday night, and then narrowed down to the Top 2: Wheelz and Alfredo Silva Cage Riders. Each of the Top 2 acts then performed for a final time before the Super Fans voted for their final choice—and the winner of season 1 of America’s Got Talent: Extreme and the $500,000 prize was the Alfredo Silva Cage Riders! “Making the Top 2 was amazing because of how big of a fight it was to get here,” said Alfredo, a third-generation circus performer, who grew up watching his father and grandfather perform crazy stunts together. “It wasn’t easy. It took years and years and years of training and hard work. This is our passion. Winning means $500,000 and with that, we can start our own show, but it is about more. It is about honor; it is about representing my family. I want to make them proud.” Before Alfredo and his troupe walked away with the grand prize, judges Simon Cowell, Nikki Bella, and Travis Pastrana weighed in on their performance: Travis said, “Every single person in there was doing something that was pushing the limits. It is rare that I see something that is so in my wheelhouse. I was on the edge of my seat.” Nikki added, “That was fire! So epic. That was a group effort. So ‘finalesque’ if that’s even a word.” And Simon wrapped it up, saying, “In my opinion, your audition was a 10, and tonight you went to 11. I don’t believe there is anything more you could have done tonight to give yourselves a chance at winning.”

What really happened with Jonathan ‘The Daredevil’ Goodwin after his stunt went wrong?

Jonathan Goodwin, aka The Daredevil, was hospitalized after being crushed between two cars in October 2021. TMZ was the first to report the accident after hearing from a production source: “Goodwin was suspended 70 feet in the air in a straitjacket hanging by his feet from a wire. Two cars were suspended on either side of him swinging back and forth. The stunt was for Goodwin to free himself from the restraints and then fall on an air mattress and avoid getting crushed by the cars as they swung in the air.” However, something went wrong, and Goodwin wasn’t able to free himself in time and was caught between the two cars, which exploded following the impact. After which, Goodwin fell to the ground and, at first, appeared to be dead, and he was rushed to the hospital. Days later, Jonathan posted on Instagram that he was healing: “There is a long road to recovery and that won’t look like what it did…I may leave the daft s**t alone for a while, but I have a lot left to do in this world. Maybe we can make something good together?”

That’s what we look for, certainly on this show.”

Nikki Bella’s America’s Got Talent: Extreme Golden Buzzer

Aaron Wheelz

Nikki Bella pushed her Golden Buzzer for 29-year-old Aaron Wheelz from Las Vegas, a wheelchair motocross athlete, having been born with spina bifida, who attempted a ramp drop into a 40-foot flip. The first time out, he made the flip, but he didn’t land correctly. Despite reassurances from Simon that he had seen enough, and as dangerous as it was, Aaron attempted it a second time and landed perfectly!
