The bizarre and twisted story comes to a sort-of conclusion tonight with the final episode, “She’s a Killer.” In this week’s episode, Pam uses the notoriety of several Dateline episodes and the show’s popular podcast about the case to lure an innocent victim as part of yet another scheme she has concocted to come up with money she and her contractor husband, Mark, need. With many in the small town of Troy, Missouri, looking down at her and no prospective buyers for the house she wants to flip, Pam is once again desperate for cash. In an attempt redirect the heat she’s feeling back at the now-exonerated husband of victim, Russ Faria (Glenn Fleshler), she hatches yet another devious plan: she claims to have thwarted an attempted robbery in her home by shooting the intruder. In reality, she has lured Louis Gumpenberger (Jeff Ryan Baker) into her home and then makes a 9-1-1 call claiming he is trying to rob and kill her. This time, her story quickly unravels and she is charged with Gumpenberger’s murder. Finally!
