Many chain stores will remain closed on Easter Sunday, but Walmart is one major exception. Walmart stores nationwide will be open regular hours over Easter, a company spokesperson confirmed to Parade.com. Those regular hours do vary from store to store. Some Walmart locations are open 24 hours, while other stores are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays, and other stores may have different Sunday opening and closing times, depending on location. So, check your local Walmart’s regular hours before heading out to shop. Some other notable big box retailers, including Safeway, Albertsons, BJ’s Wholesale and Cabela’s, have traditionally kept their doors open on Easter Sunday. Some stores may have reduced hours on the holiday, though, varying by location, so again, it’s always best to call your local store to check their hours. On the other hand, some major retailers, including Costco and Sam’s Club, will remain closed on Easter Sunday. (Check out a list of more stores that will be closed.) Happy Easter shopping!
