Spoiler alert: Do not read on until you have seen the most recent episode of Resident Alien. In last week’s episode, “The Alien Within”, Harry and Sahar (Gracelyn Awad Rinke) went in search of the baby alien only to witness an actual alien abduction when he is kidnapped by the covert government agency that General McCallister (Linda Hamilton) runs. Harry, who claims to only care about Asta (Sara Tomko), awkwardly comforted Max’s (Judah Prehn) “criminal wife” after she becomes distraught at Baby Harry’s kidnapping. We learned that Harry is attracted to the Blue Avian alien species and their hot worm breath. Does this mean The Muppets’ Sam the Eagle gets him hot and bothered? D’Arcy (Alice Wetterlund) decides to train for an upcoming tournament, but getting back in the saddle— or in her case, skis—isn’t as easy as it once was. With the leg injury D’Arcy suffered during her run at the Olypmics, training has been difficult and comes with a fair amount of pain. As she seeks medical advice and pills from Harry, he finds himself feeling compassion for the former Olympian and prescribes her pain meds. By the end of last week’s episode, we discovered that Goliath and Harry were the same person! It turns out Harry roamed the earth for centuries and discovered a time-traveling portal left by another alien race. The portal took him back to 1989 where he lived out his life as Goliath. So it turns out Harry actually is the baby alien’s father! In this week’s episode, “Harry, A Parent”, D’Arcy is set to make a comeback when she competes at a tournament, Asta discovers something unexpected when she searches for her “Team D’Arcy” hat, and Harry discovers which alien race is here on earth and it’s not who he expected. Look for a cameo by George Takei in the episode. Check out this Parade.com exclusive sneak peek at “Harry, A Parent” below. New episodes of Resident Alien premiere on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on SYFY and can also be viewed on the SYFY app or on Peacock the next day.
