Michelle then met with four of her grade-school students, who sweetly told the cameras why she’s so great. And then, the kids announced to the group of surprised men that they would be planning all the dates this week before asking them questions like, “Have you ever been grounded?” and, “Who in the house has the worst breath?” Of course, there was plenty of drama in the mix, including some of the kids not being overly thrilled with Martin Gelbspan (“he wears too much cologne,” a little girl said at one point.) Olumide “Olu” Inajide also called Martin out for not being supportive of Michelle when he got one-on-one time with her. Find out who Michelle Young sent home last week on Episode 6 of TheBachelorette Season 18—and who got her roses.
Who got Michelle Young’s first one-on-one date on The Bachelorette Episode 6?
Clayton got the first one-on-one with Michelle. The (alleged) future Bachelor star was chosen by Michelle’s students as their favorite, after he came up with the idea to build a fort with them. The two went on a date that was planned by the kids, which included a limo ride to a museum that Michelle and Clayton got to run around in at night. Michelle opened up about her fear of being alone in a relationship during the date and Clayton told her that he’s ready to get serious with someone. But there was a distinct lack of chemistry between them, and Michelle opened up about it during an interview with producers. “Something is missing for me,” she said at one point, after saying what a nice guy Clayton is. Michelle ended up sending Clayton home, calling it an “incredibly difficult” decision for her. “You are this amazing, wonderful person and you are enough,” she told him. “Without a doubt, there is going to be the right time and place for that relationship. I truly believe that.” Clayton met with several of the kids before he went home and shed a few tears over letters they wrote for him, including one that said he would meet someone else and have kids. “I just want to find love so badly and have a family,” he told producers, tearing up. “I’ll do whatever it takes.” (Potential spoiler alert: During the end credits of this episode, one of Michelle’s students predicted Clayton would be the next Bachelor!)
Who got Michelle Young’s group date rose on The Bachelorette Episode 6?
The group date featured Michelle and a few of the men on a trip to a farm, where they learned how to milk cows, feed calves and churn butter. They also scooped manure and ended the evening with a hayride. Michelle and Nayte Olukoya talked about how they want a family during the evening portion of the group date, and Joe Coleman and Michelle got cozy on a couch together while talking about how good he was during the farm date. But Olu told Michelle that Martin called her immature, which Martin denied when she confronted him about it. Michelle wasn’t impressed, and sent Martin home. Martin was not impressed and said in the car ride to the airport, “A woman like that does not deserve my time.” Nayte got the group date rose.
Who got Michelle Young’s second one-on-one date on The Bachelorette Episode 6?
Brandon Jones got the second one-on-one with Michelle. The two went to an ice cream truck that Michelle used to visit as a kid. She followed that up by taking him to her childhood home, where her parents still live. The two ended up in the hot tub, where Michelle’s parents caught them making out. Brandon and Michelle ended up sitting down with her parents and talking. When Brandon was alone with them, he asked for their blessing to be with their daughter. During the evening, Brandon gave Michelle a bracelet his mom gave him. “I’m falling in love with you,” he said. Michelle gave Brandon the rose.
