When did the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians film?
The family took some time off in June and started shooting again in July, per Us Weekly. They finished filming in early January—more than a month before Kardashian filed for divorce from West.
How much has Kanye West been on the show in the past?
Not much. While Kardashian’s previous relationships—including the details of her divorce from Kris Humphries and breakup from Reggie Bush—were laid out in past seasons, West has only been on the show here and there more recently. It’s highly doubtful that West will actually appear on camera this season, given that he’s been living in Wyoming, apart from his family, while the show shoots in Los Angeles. And, while Kardashian was spotted by paparazzi tearfully talking to West in a car in July in Wyoming, there was no film crew spotted with her.
What does the KUWTK Season 20 trailer suggest?
The trailer doesn’t give away much. It does show Kardashian crying, but it’s because she’s telling the show’s crew that they’re going to stop filming. Other than that, a lot of the trailer focuses on where the show has been, with little teases, like suggesting that Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are getting back together, and Khloe Kardashian telling her ex, Tristan Thompson that she wants another child. In a more recent trailer for the show, an upset Kardashian also says that she feels like a “f*cking loser,” although it’s not clear what, exactly, she’s referring to.
So, will Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s breakup be on KUWTK Season 20?
According to insiders, yes. A source told ET that Kimye’s marital issues will be on the show—it just won’t be a main plot point. The source also said that Kardashian and West communicate “regularly,” and that their kids aren’t entirely aware of what’s happening. “The kids don’t know much of what’s going on because they are young, but also this isn’t new to them,” the source said. “Kim and Kanye have always been so busy traveling and in and out that Kanye not being there isn’t shocking. At the end of the day, Kim and Kanye will do what is best for their kids and are on great terms as parents.” By the way, a source told Us Weeklythat West is “less than thrilled” that his breakup will be on the show.
